Head and Heart CIC’s mission, as laid out in its Articles of Association and its Community Benefit Statement, is:

To benefit the community and in particular individuals, charities, community groups, Community Interest Companies and small private enterprises across the UK by offering free and low-cost digital transformation support and practical guidance on establishing and operating CICs.

Head and Heart CIC (H&H) is primarily an open-source resource publisher. The coaching service I offer is there as a fallback for when the open-source resources aren’t sufficient for H&H’s mission, but I try my best to stop that happening. As long as that is an impossible task, H&H will be a financially viable social enterprise.

In principle, if I do succeed in producing an open-source library that eliminates the need for the coaching service then that will be the ultimate success for H&H. In practice, by the time I reach that stage with any technological advance another one has come along bringing a fresh set of challenges.
